How to Use Autom8Leads
A quick guide to setting up APIs, integrating with your CRM, and automating outreach.
1. Google Places API
The Google Places API is what allows this tool to search for local businesses, fetch their details, and find their websites.
How to get your API key:
- Go to the Google Cloud Console.
- Create a new project or select an existing one.
- Navigate to APIs & Services > Library.
- Search for Places API (New) and enable it.
- Go to APIs & Services > Credentials.
- Click Create Credentials > API Key.
- Recommended: Restrict the API key to your domain to prevent unauthorized use.
- Copy the key and paste it into the Settings dialog in this app.
2. Autom8Suite CRM Integration
Push qualified leads directly into your Autom8Suite CRM with a single click.
When you click "Add to CRM", the app creates a new contact record in your Autom8Suite account. It maps the business name, phone number, address, and website. It also applies tags based on your search (e.g., "Has Website", "Plumber", "Joondalup WA") so you can easily segment your lists.
How to connect:
- Find your Autom8Suite API Key (or OAuth token) and Location ID in your Autom8Suite settings.
- Enter them in the Settings dialog in this app.
- The app automatically checks for duplicates by phone number before adding to prevent messy data.
3. Automated Outreach & Voice Drops
Take your prospecting to the next level with automated Voice Drops and SMS.
The app automatically detects Australian mobile numbers (starting with 04). For these leads, you can apply a special "Voice Drop" tag.
In Autom8Suite, you can trigger a workflow whenever this tag is added, automatically sending a ringless voicemail to the business owner, introducing your services without cold calling.
